On the day of the marathon, special buses will take participants from Tartu to the start and back after the finish. After the finish, buses will depart from the finish parking lot to Tartu every full hour, except for the last bus, which departs 30 minutes after the finish closes.When purchasing a ticket, you must choose a suitable return time. If it takes longer to complete the distance, the purchased ticket is also valid for the following departures, if there are free seats.

Transfer1 will provide transportation for participants coming from Tallinn.
EuroPark is the parking operator at the marathon parking lots in Elva. Parking in the marathon parking lots is paid, the parking fee is 7 euros and the parking zone sign is EP500. Parking can be paid using SMS parking, a parking app or a QR code.

The Tartu Forest Marathon starts are given at the Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre, located near Elva. The start corridor will open 15 minutes before the start. Please check the event programme for your specific distance start time.
In all starts, participants can choose their start group according to their expected finishing time. All distances can also be completed by walking (walking poles are not mandatory). For safety reasons, participants using walking poles will start separately in the last start group.
Time keeping is performed with an electronic timing chip attached inside the start number. No need to return the chip to organisers. Please do not bend or break the chip.

There are 7 service points and 1 drinking station on the 42 km distance, 3 on the 21 km distance, and 2 on the 10 km distance.
There will be marked waste areas on the race course before and after every service point. Please dispose your waste (drink bottles, gel tubes etc.) next to the course, do not throw it to the forest or road ditch, where it is hard to find for cleaning crew after the event. It is prohibited to litter outside of waste areas!
The Tartu Forest Marathon children's races will take place on May 9 at the Tartumaa Health Sports Centre in Elva and on May 10 at the Tähtvere Sports Park in Tartu.
All children are welcome to the children's races, regardless of age, athletic preparation or previous experience. The joy of participating is at the heart of this day, which is why rankings will not be announced. Every child can feel like an equal and welcome participant on the course. NB! Age groups are indicative. When choosing a start time, it is worth considering the length of the distance, not only age.
There is medical aid available at the race location.
In case of a medical emergency on the course, call the Estonian emergency number 112 or ask for a medic at the next service point.
In case of quitting in the middle of the race (for medical reasons or not) contact a medic at the next service point.
From the race office tent you can collect:
Personalized medal – make your running experience even more memorable! Have your name and time engraved on the medal at the finish (7 EUR).
At the race venue, there is a luggage storage area for participants, as well as separate changing areas for men and women.
Please come to the marathon with a weatherproof bag and attach the luggage sticker that you will find in your race envelope. Leave your numbered bag at the baggage storage before the race; bags are sorted based on the last digit of your race number.
Washing facilities at the finish:
Present your medal at the finish catering, food coupons are no longer required.
The Tartu Forest Marathon is much more than just a race. It’s a true family festival. At the Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre, participants can enjoy a variety of additional activities that make the day even more memorable:
Trainers from CrossFit KÕU will lead energetic pre-start warm-ups and offer extra activities for both children and adults.
Under the guidance of the Tartu County Recreational Sports Centre team, you can try archery and test your skills with biathlon laser rifles.
After finishing, you can relax in the massage area provided by Tartu Health Care College and unwind in the finish saunas.
There will be trampolines open for children.
