Children of any age and regardless of their athletic preparation are welcome to take part in the Tartu Maraton Kids Races, which takes place one day before the main marathon. Registration is mandatory and is opened online 10 days before the event. Registration is also possible on the day of the event.
All children receive a number 1 bib and no winners are declared. Everyone gets a medal and some treat after finishing the race. A list of participants is later published on the web.
Kids can also join the virtual race format. This means that everyone can choose the most suitable time and place for skiing, even in their own home yard or favourite park. Registration is mandatory.
