There are no special parking areas for participants. Parking is available in the city’s public parking lots. Please note that some areas are paid parking also on Saturday – see parking terms and options HERE.
If possible, come on foot or by bike! A free guarded bike parking for participants is available on Poe Street.

BIB hand-out takes place located at the Race Centre on Tartu City Hall Square.
The Race Centre is open:
Friday: 12:00–21:45; BIB hand-out for Tartu City Marathon ends at 19:00, BIB hand-out for Friday Night Run until 22:00.
Saturday: 07:30–16:30
Please check your race number in the participants’ list beforehand, as it helps shorten the queue. Registration is also available at the race centre.
In addition, the race centre offers marathon souvenirs and plenty of great deals on sports goods.
Re-registration (alteration of the participant’s name or the race distance):
The starts will be given at Vabaduse Ave. Check out the start times in the programme.
The corridors will open 15 minutes before the start. Everybody can choose their start group based on their preliminary finish time. More info on the start groups and finish times in the race regulations.
Time keeping is performed with an electronic timing chip attached inside the start number. No need to return the chip to organisers. Please do not bend or break the chip.
Attach the start number to the chest. Be sure to fill in the medical information at the back of the bib. Do not block the number with your hand when crossing the finish line.

If you wish to send your drinking bottle to a service point on the track, bring the bottle to the Race Office tent and put it in the correct box:
If you wish to send a gel to a service point, please attach it to a bottle with tape or a rubber band. Mark the bottle clearly so that you can recognize it! Make sure to write the runner’s name, bib number, and the service point/km where the bottle should be delivered. At all service points, your drinks will be placed on the first table.
NB! Following the runners along the track on a bike or any other type of vehicle is not allowed. It is also forbidden to service the runners outside the service points.
Please do not litter: put your rubbish away only at the waste areas or the service stations.
Medical services are located at the Town Hall Square, at the corner of Magistri Street.
In case of a medical emergency on track, call 112 or contact the medical crew at the next service station.

This year the 42 km Lounge awaits the marathon finishers. It is a special area only for 42 km runners, where you can relax after the effort, enjoy tasty snacks, and share fresh impressions with fellow runners.
The lounge is located on Vabaduse Boulevard, opposite the Kaarsild, and this is also where 42 km runners can pick up their finisher t-shirt!
The Marathoners’ Lounge is stocked with treats and refreshments from A. Le Coq, Salvest, Eesti Pagar, Bambona and Võrumaa Catering.

NB! The 42 km finisher’s t-shirt can be collected from the marathoners’ lounge, located at Taksopark on Vabaduse Boulevard, opposite the Kaarsild.
This year, everyone who has completed all five events will receive a brand new Klassik Dry Bag, a series medal, and a diploma. The Dry Bag and medal can be collected on Saturday, October 3rd, after finishing your distance, from the race office tent. The diploma can be printed out HERE after the Tartu City Marathon.
The series winners (top 3 men, women and teams) will be awarded on October 3rd at 15:00 on the Tartu City Marathon podium at Town Hall Square.

The City Marathon children’s runs are the final event of the Children’s Klassik series season. This means the big season-ending party is just around the corner! This year, children who have taken part in at least 4 events during the season will receive a gift – a visit to the ice rink! Those who have participated in all 5 children’s events will also be rewarded with a special Children’s Klassik souvenir.
The party will take place at Lõunakeskus Astri Arena on October 24. Invitations will be sent by e-mail.
