RECOGNITION OF REGULAR PARTICIPANTS

 

Regular participants of Club Tartu Maraton events are recognized as follows:

 

SILVER PIN - five participations in an event gives the participant the right to receive a corresponding silver pin. E.g.: 5 participations in the Tartu Maraton – you receive the Tartu Maraton’s silver pin.

 

GOLD PIN - ten participations in an event gives the participant the right to receive a corresponding gold pin. E.g.: 10 participations in the Tartu Maraton – you receive the Tartu Maraton’s gold pin.

 

MARATHON ENVOY - twenty participations in an event gives the participant the right to receive the twenty participations pin of the event and the title of a "Marathon Envoy", which entails the corresponding diploma. Starting from the 21st participation, the participant is entitled to a specially designed start number for that event, in case the registration is completed by the end of the first entry wave.

 

MARATHON AMBASSADOR - thirty participations in an event give the participant the right to receive the thirty participations pin of the event and the title of a "Marathon Ambassador", which entails the corresponding diploma. Starting from the 31st participation, the participant is entitled to a specially designed start number for that event, in case the registration is completed by the end of the first entry wave.

 

NB! Gold and silver pins, Marathon Envoy and Marathon Ambassador diplomas and pins are handed out in the diploma printing room of the finish area on the race day, and at the office of Club Tartu Maraton during the time between the events.The pins can be handed out retrospectively for up to 3 years.

 

PARTICIPATION RECORDS

 

The participants’ results and their participation records have been entered into the database in the following manner:

  • The Tartu Maraton does not have finish protocols from 1960–1979, and thus it is not reflected in the participation records.
    • Results from 1980–1984 – based upon the participants’ request.
    • Results from 1985–1991 – based upon the finish protocols without a finish time and place.
    • Results from 1992–1995 – based upon the finish protocols with a place, but without a finish time.
    • Results since 1996 – based upon the electronic database of Club Tartu Maraton.
  • The participation records of the Tartu Maastikumaraton also include the results of the Tartu Sügisjooks from 1983–1999 and Tartu Jooksumaraton 2000-2017.
  • Records on the participation in the Tartu Linnamaraton and the restored Tartu Sügisjooks are kept from 2012.
  • Completing a distance of an event in the Tartu Maratoni Klassik series shall be regarded as a single participation of that event.
  • Completing a distance in real or virtual race of an event shall be regarded as a single participation of that event.
