More information

Since 2022, the 135 km distance of Tartu Rattaralli has been part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series, bringing together cyclists from around the world.

Riders compete in age groups, and the best will earn a medal and qualify for two major championships! Granfondo European Championships will take place on October 3–4 in Varese, Italy, and the World Championships on August 26–30 in Niseko, Japan.

Tartu Rattaralli is considered as perfect UCI qualifier for non-climbers – and a true cycling adventure. Read the race stories from Dutch riders Harry Ruiterkamp and Yda Smets

The series is open to all cyclists aged 19 and older:

  • GF riders start in waves according to their age group. Start times can be found in the program.

  • Top three men and women in each age category are awarded a trophy and a series medal. The winners also receive a stage winner’s jersey.

  • The top 25% of finishers in each age category qualify for the championships and are rewarded with the series medal. For the European Championships classification, this applies to riders holding the sporting nationality of a European country.

  • The invitations to the championships will be sent separately by the series organizers.
