One trip, two epic Worldloppet races
Looking for a memorable ski trip this winter? Combine two legendary Worldloppet events in just one journey!
Within one week you can experience the festive atmosphere of Finlandia-hiihto in Lahti and the unique charm of Tartu Maraton in Estonia – and return home with two stamps in your Worldloppet passport.
Finlandia-hiihto – Lahti, Finland (7–8 February 2026)
A legendary race offering distances for every skier, with classic style races on Saturday and skating races on Sunday. Starting and finishing at the famous Lahti Ski Stadium, the course also runs through the Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark, giving unforgettable experiences.
Tartu Maraton – Otepää–Elva, Estonia (14–15 February 2026)
A true classic of cross-country skiing, offering both classic and skating races of various lengths. The courses run across the rolling landscapes between Estonia’s winter capital Otepää and the charming small town of Elva. The program also features a Vintage race, welcoming everyone fond of traditions.
Double the Experience
With only a week in between, it’s the perfect chance to combine two races in neighboring countries. Easy travel connections – either by plane or by combining bus and ferry – make the trip simple to plan.
In between, there is plenty of time to explore the best attractions of the Otepää and Lahti regions, or just enjoy skiing.
In Estonia you can try bog shoeing, while in Lahti you can visit the ski jumping hill or take a dip in cold water – and of course relax in a sauna, the beloved tradition of both nations! It’s also a great opportunity to take a city break and discover the two capitals – Tallinn and Helsinki.
