Tartu Forest Marathon: shuttle buses and parking

04.05.2026

On race day, special shuttle buses will operate from Tartu to the start areas and after the finish from Elva back to Tartu. NB! The return schedule of the marathon buses has changed.

The return buses from finish to Tartu will depart every full hour, no longer based on demand. The only exception is the last bus, which will leave 30 minutes after the finish closes.

To help us plan better, you are required to select a preferred return time when purchasing your ticket. Choose a time that best matches when you expect to finish and head back – consider your estimated finish time and leave some extra time to enjoy soup, the sauna, and sharing your race experience with friends. If there are available seats, your ticket can also be used for an earlier or later departure.

Parking

Parking at the Elva finish parking areas is paid. Large designated parking areas are available along the Elva–Hellenurme road, where parking services are provided by EuroPark. The parking ticket is valid for 72 hours and costs €7 (mobile operator service fees apply). We recommend purchasing the parking ticket in advance to ensure a smoother experience on site.

If you are dropping off a participant and do not intend to park, short-term kiss and fly parking is allowed. No parking fee applies if you leave within 10 minutes.

Subaru gives you a free parking. The special parking area is marked with Mariine Auto and Subaru flags.
