Easy ways to get here

Tartu is easy to reach from across Europe. Most common is to fly to Tallinn and continue with a comfortable 2 to 2.5-hour bus, train or rental car ride to Tartu. For closer access, consider the direct Helsinki-Tartu flights that take you right to South-Estonia.

Coming from the Baltics, Tartu is just a few hours away by car. From the Nordics, convenient ferries connecting Tallinn with Helsinki and Stockholm make the journey easy as well.

More than just a race

It´s Estonia’s cultural "heart and soul”, the vibrant city of students. Its compact size ensures that everything from cosy cafes to other highlights is easily accessible on foot, by public bus, or with a quick and affordable Bolt ride. Make sure to visit Aura Waterpark for a refreshing swim and sauna, or learn about the history at the Sports and Olympic Museum, who offer special discounts for the participants.

Most of Estonia is also ideal for biking, but Tartu and South Estonia stand out for its distinct landscapes: gentle hills and valleys, lakes, and lush forests. While taking part in the race, consider exploring Estonia also beyond the race-day routes!
